One meter, packaged for laboratory or field operation, can easily meet your sampling requirements.
This affordable nephelometric turbidity meter measures the amount of suspended particles in a clear liquid. The meter accurately reads the amount of reflected light at 90 degrees to the incident angle of a light source. The reflected light is proportional to the number of suspended particles in a sample.
The meter has two full scale ranges of 20 and 200 NTUs. With only two controls, Zero and Range, the meter is very easy to operate.
You may choose Model 800 for 120 volt line
operation in a laboratory setting or Model 800–P for portable,
rechargeable 12 volt battery operation.
Model 800 and 800–P are both supplied with formazin for making a standardizing solution, a filter/syringe assembly for producing a turbidity free reference, six samples vials, and an AC wall adapter.
In addition, Model 800–P includes a luggage type carrying case, permanently sealed calibrating standards of 0 NTU and 10 NTU, and a rechargeable 12 volt sealed battery.
With each charge, Model 800–P's battery provides 90 minutes continuous use or the power to test approximately 180 samples. To recharge, simply use the same AC adapter provided to operate the unit in your lab.
This affordable meter meets EPA water measurement specifications and ASTM D1889.
